At a very young age, I learned to play solitaire. It was the very first card game that I learned. My grandparents used to play Tongits every night, and since it’s a gambling game, they didn’t want to teach me. Later on, I learned how to play Tongits because I watched them play every night.
Card games were part of my childhood. There was no internet back then. And being an only child, I don’t have any playmates so I tend to play solitaire a lot.
We now have access to solitaire and even other games using the internet thanks to technology. Aside from solitaire, there are other games that you can play on solitaire.org
Here are my top three favorite games to play at solitaire.org:
- Sudoku – This is also a big part of my childhood. Back then, I remember buying Sudoku puzzle books at our local bookstore. I loved playing this game and I even remember bringing them to school or anywhere I go. Now, I have unlimited access to Sudoku puzzles. No need to go to our local bookstore just to buy Sudoku puzzles. I remember being able to finish those books in a short amount of time and then being sad that I have to wait again until we visit the store.
- Word Search – Aside from Sudoku puzzles, I remember also buying word search puzzle books. Since there was no internet back then, this was usually how I spend my time. I am so glad that we now can now easily access these games. I was a huge fan of the word search.
- Minesweeper – This game is very nostalgic. I remember when I was a kid, my mom would let me tag along with her as she goes to work. Back then, there were no PC games, just minesweeper, and pinball among others.
There are other games available at solitaire.org. There are other categories like Hidden Object and Mahjong. How about you, what’s your favorite game on their platform?
