Star Cinema’s Valentine movie this 2013 is the “A Moment in Time” starring the phenomenal love team from the big hit teleserye “Walang Hanggan” of 2012, Mr. Coco Martin and Julia Montes. This movie started showing Ash Wednesday, February 13, 2013. According to Coco Martin, as stated in the press release, “This time, gusto naming magpakilig, magpa-in love at mang-inspire ng bawat manunuod. Sa movie kasi, iibahin ko ang mundo ng karakter ni Julia na Jilian. Tuturuan ko siya kung paano mabuhay. Di ba ‘pag may boyfriend o girlfriend ka, minsan may mga bagay kang nagagawa na kahit alam mong labag ‘yun sa prinsipyo mo ay gagawin mo pa rin dahil in love ka. At ‘yung mga bagay na ‘yun ang dapat abangan sa movie.”
A Moment In Time Cast
The characters were chosen by brainstorming. Julia Montes will act as Jilian, Ella Cruz as May, Coco Martin as Patrick, and Gabby Concepcion as Jilian’s Dad.
During the press conference, Coco Martin also shared how he spent time with his girlfriend way back when he was still a student. “Umaakyat pa ako sa bakod nun sa UE Caloocan” said Coco Martin. He shares that way back, their relationship was really simple, they walk home from school, yet they were really happy.
Kuya Germs while talking to the cast
Kuya Germs also gave Coco Martin a special message and then asked Coco, how will you take care of your leading lady? Coco answered that he respects his leading lady never takes advantage. Kuya Germs also gave a question to Joseph and Ella. Kuya Germs question to Joseph was what does he feel or does he thinks that maybe some day he will be like Coco. Joseph answered that he wants to prove himself. He told us that Coco is his inspiration as an actor.
They also asked about Ella’s view about accepting guys courting her. Ella said that she doesn’t want to be courted at this moment. She says that she want to be serious with her career first since she just started with her career. They asked her, if ever, what kind of guy will you like? She answered that she wants a guy who is showy. She doesn’t want to be courted through text. “Baka mamaya nangttrip lang eh” Ella said. She said there’s no real emotion if she’s courted through text. “Gusto ko ung dumadaan kay mama” Ella answered. While Julia’s answer to this question was that she likes how men court the females before, giving effort and time, and someone that will make her feel like she’s a princess.
The question about who will be the escort of Julia Montes on March 19 was also raised during the press conference. They said most probably that Coco will be the escort just like in Walang Hanggan. Actually, Julia has not formally asked Coco if he will be her escort, and during the press conference Julia asked Coco formally.
