The terrifying saga of Feng Shui continues!
Directed by Chito S. Roño, co-written by Roy Iglesias, Feng Shui is Star Cinema’s official entry to the upcoming 40th Metro Manila Film Festival. The lead star of the film is Miss Kris Aquino who also functions as co-producer via her production company Kristina C. Aquino Productions. This year’s Feng Shui marks Coco Martin‘s debut to the horror film genre. 2004’s Feng Shui became the very first horror film that breached the Php 100M mark in the box-office. (Press Release)
“Actually the elements are the same. Bagua pa rin kaya lang anjan si ‘lotus feet’, may kasama na siya isa pa.” (It’s still bagua, but this time ‘lotus feet’ is there, now with accompany.) said Direct Chito during the Feng Shui 2014 Bloggers Conference. Now, its double the excitement, with awesome tandem of Miss Kris Aquino and Coco Martin and double the fright now that there will be two “Lotus Feet.” What’s even more exciting is Feng Shui will also be showing in 4D. Just wow! Imagine watching a scary film with your seat trying to scare the wits out of you at the same time!
During the Bloggers Conference, Direct Chito shared how the idea of making the next Feng Shui started. He told the bloggers that Kris Aquino has been telling him that it’s time to do the next Feng Shui since it has been ten years already since the last Feng Shui. He tells how he unexpectedly bumped into Coco Martin during a pre-prod. “Well kailangan talaga na gawin siguro kasi nagkatagpo tagpo na kami without any effort” says Direct Chito.
If you are planning to watch Feng Shui but doubting because you haven’t seen the first one, well here’s the good news. According to the co-writer Roy Iglesias, “Stand alone siya. Kahit hindi mo napanuod yung one.” (It’s stand alone. No need to watch the first movie.) Whether you are a loyal and solid fan or not of Feng Shui, you can look forward to an absolutely frightful Christmas treat as Kris Aquino and Coco Martin faces off with “Lotus Feet” for a second round. With Star Cinema and Feng Shui, it is guaranteed that this year is unforgettably #ChristMasaya!
Feng Shui is Star Cinema’s official entry to the upcoming 40th Metro Manila Film Festival, opens in all cinemas nationwide starting December 25, 2014.
