I first found out about Essilor and Crizal lenses in 2017 when I got my prescription glasses with Kulyan Optical. I was very satisfied with the product. Back then, my lenses used Crizal Prevencia. I was very satisfied with my glasses until I lost that glasses in 2019 during my birthday celebration.
It’s been years since I used lenses from Essilor, and I could say that their lenses make a huge difference. I tried those prescription glasses from other optical offering digital screen protection lenses, but nothing beats Essilor lenses. This year 2021, Crizal Prevencia is already phased out, so I tried Blue UV Capture lenses. It’s Crizal’s latest offering, and a huge upgrade from Crizal Prevencia.
But this blog post is not about Essilor lenses. I’m here to share my experience with Eyeconcept Optical. So I went to research where to find optical clinics that are offering Essilor products. I went to this link: https://www.essilor.com.ph/store-locator to find branches near me. That’s how I found Eyeconcept Optical. I called them right away and booked a schedule for the following day. I went to Eyeconcept last April 9, 2021 for my eye check up and got a new pair of eyeglasses.
The frame that I choose is from the Gap line up.
They have a frames for different brands like Uniqlo, Gap, Guess, etc. They are also offering cheaper brands like Hachiko, which by the way, is a trendy collection. I think it’s good that they have frames for different brands since you have a wide range of choices for your frames. In my case, I went with Gap. I had a hard time choosing whether I should get the one from Hachiko since it’s really nice and cute too. They also have frames for kids and offer different types of lenses aside from Essilor.
What I like about Eyeconcept Optical is they are very hands-on to their customers. Something you don’t get to experience if you visit optical clinics that are usually located inside malls (of course, with exceptions). During the eye check up, I felt that the examination of my eyes was very thorough. Doc made sure she gets my right eye grade. It’s so frustrating when there’s discrepancy during the eye check up because you’ll end up with a pair that are not suited for your eyes, and suffer headaches afterwards. I’m glad that this time around, the doctor who examined my eyes made sure that I’m comfortable with my lenses.
I would also like to commend the staff and doctors of Eyeconcept Optical. The customer service is superb. They were very accommodating to all my questions and helped me choose the right pair for my eyes. They were also very patient with me as I kept on asking if my eyeglasses is ready for pick up. After-sales support is awesome too. If you need to have your nose pad or frames adjusted, you can just bring your pair to the clinic and they’d adjust it for you for free.

Overall, I highly recommend Eyeconcept Optical. If you need a wide range of brands for your frames, or looking for an optical clinic that offers Essilor lenses, or maybe you just want their superb customer service, then Eyeconcept is worth the visit. I just got my new pair today and I was so satisfied that I wrote this review right away!
