I started blogging 11 years ago. I first started blogging under Blogspot then later moved to Tumblr then finally decided to permanently use WordPress as my blogging platform. It was really a struggle before because I had no idea how blogging works especially with all the codes (CSS, HTML, PHP). And since I really wanted to start my own blog, I did my own research on how codes work and how blogging works. I met a lot of good people online who because my inspiration to pursue blogging and they also helped me along the way.
On regular days, my mom takes my ootds. But when I have something really nice in mind that needs professional help, RD Llarena shoots my ootds for me.
Don’t be afraid to be different. Always be creative and find a way on how to start a new trend because that’s the key to be discovered and noticed.
Being a Social Media Specialist and Blogger are two different worlds for me. When I’m not blogging, I’m definitely working as a Social Media Specialist at 1DMG. And if I’m not doing any of the two, I just doodle and practice calligraphy on my free time.
I suggest you to do the 2 R’s (Read and Research). Whenever I feel like I’m running out of ideas or creative juice, I spare an hour to browse Pinterest and read different online magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, Who What Wear and Vogue just to get inspiration on my next blog post.
Honestly we’re all unique and we stand out in our own different ways. But as for me, I guess what makes me stand out is how I always experiment with my photos and how I find ways on how to incorporate a story even with just an outfit post.
I spend most of my past time on Instagram and Pinterest because I get a lot of inspiration from those sites.
More than just blogging, I have always wanted to personally meet my readers and be closer to them. I’ve been blogging for 11 years already and the reason why I’m still doing what I’m doing is because of my readers.
