Gamers and JaDine fans went to Market Market! Activity Center last March 16, 2019. Mountain Dew staked their claim on the gaming world, by holding their first ever #DewDay, a one-of-a-kind event that brought together all kinds of gamers and thrill seekers. As the brand known for encouraging people to chase thrills, Mountain Dew took it to the next level. They welcomed all gamers of all levels – professionals, enthusiasts and newbies alike.
In partnership with Road to SEA Games and Mineski Gaming Cafe, #DewDay was jam-packed with activities for everyone to enjoy. To start off the event, pro and celebrity gamers attended the event. There were live matches played by Ako si Dogie, Wil Dasocvich, Alodia and Ashley Gosiengfiao. Event attendees get to have live team matches with Team Bren Esports, Team Cignal Ultra and PB ESports AK battling PB ESports Doujin at the main stage area.
Gaming enthusiasts was also able to enjoy all the action, with real-life and virtual activities. They battled with their favorite characters at the Tekken Free Play Zone and mini-games at the Nintendo Switch Zone.
The event ended with Mountain Dew ambassadors James Reid and Nadine Lustre, along with Bret Jackson, giving a special performance for the crowd.
