Christmas season is officially here! Now on it’s 35th year, Araneta Center, once again, made Christmas special for us. The season of hope and joy is never complete without Araneta Center’s Giant Christmas Tree.
Last November 4, Araneta Center lit the 100-foot Christmas tree at the Gateway Food Park, just beside the Smart Araneta Coliseum. A tradition that has been around for the last 35 years. Kids and the kids at heart starts to feel the season of love at the Araneta Center.

During the opening of the Christmas lights, Filipinos were able to celebrate with the hottest Kapamilya celebrities like Alex Gonzaga, Louisa Andalio and Iñigo Pascual. Goin’ Bulilit stars Mutya Orquia, Nhickzy Calma, Marco Masa, Izzy Canillo and Xyriel Manabat also graced the occasion with their presence. Stars Maris Racal, Pinoy Big Brother Lucky Season 7 teen stars Vivoree Esclito and Marco Gallo was also part of the line-up.

PLDT also held a 15-minute pre-show segment to promote their Christmas deals and promos, and will hold exciting games for the audience. Daryl Ong and Jason Dy of ASAP Soul Sessions together with the ASAP Birit Queen Jonalyn Viray, former housemate, Dawn Chang had serenaded and entertained us with their dance number. The tree lighting was led by the Unkabogable, Vice Ganda joined by Vice Chairman Judy A. Roxas and the other executives of Araneta Center. The Binibing Pilipinas 2016 winners, a part of the Araneta Center family, led by Miss Grand International 1st Runner Up, Nicole Cordoves graced the ceremonial tree lighting.
To make this year more special, Araneta Center has invited street children under the He Cares Mission to experience the special tree lighting. They got a chance to meet and see up-close their favorite stars. They also had an early Christmas dinner and received their early Christmas gifts. And of course, there was a grand fireworks display to cap off the night.
Because Christmas is the season of giving, Araneta Center is giving away a brand new Isuzu mu-X to a lucky patron and ten lucky patrons can also win an overnight stay at the Novotel Manila Araneta Center. The “Feel The Ride” Christmas promo runs from November 4, 2016 until January 15, 2017. Shoppers will be eligible to join for a single receipt purchase worth Php 1,000.00. As for their online supporters, Araneta Center’s “60 Gifts for 60 Days” promo is also ongoing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The promo runs everyday until December 23, 2016.
