Last January 24, 2015, I was able to join the group of bloggers to visit Paradizoo in Mendez, Cavite, Philippines. It’s just on the boundary of Tagaytay, Philippines. Paradizoo is celebrating the “Festive Bloom of Agriculture,” the Power of Three. It’s called the Power of Three because it’s a floral, vegetable and agri-livestock fair. When I first arrived in Paradizoo, all I was able to say was “Wow.” Since, Paradizoo is almost a part of Tagaytay, the weather is quite the same. It was almost lunch time when we arrived, but it was really cold. I never even felt the heat of the sun the whole day. I love the weather. I may be freezing, but to have a break to the heat of the metro, it was fun!

We visited “Eclectic Garden,” “Flower Garden,” and the “Butterflies Blooms.” The Eclectic Garden is a garden with combination of veggies and flowers. In the Butterflies Blooms, you can have a really close encounter with the butterflies!
We also visited the “Honey House” where you will have a chance to see a queen bee! Well, we didn’t have that close encounter with the bees. Good that.
I really enjoyed visiting their garden. It was truly beautiful. Words cannot describe it. It will be an understatement. Perhaps my pictures could at least do some justification.
What’s great about Paradizoo is you can actually have a chance to feed the animals. You can buy their food for around Php 30.00 if I am not mistaken. (That’s less than a dollar!)
You can also get a chance to ride the horses for only Php 50.00 for the regular size horse, Php 30.00 for the mini horse. I actually like the mini horse. It’s a cutie!
We went inside the “Bird Thrill” and we were able feed the birds. I love this part. They would eat on your palms, and seriously, it was very tickling! Please, be careful not to step on any of the birds. It’s really sad to see a dying bird. If you got to step on them by chance, their chance of surviving is very low.
I also saw some sheep named after Pope Francis because they were born last January 15, 2015. Nice!
My VERDICT:
If you are looking for a place to visit and spend some time with your family, Paradizoo is a must visit. You get to appreciate and enjoy God’s creation and the beauty of nature. It was truly a memorable experience!
Paradizoo earned 5 stars from The Lifestyle Avenue.

From 8share Philippines: very relaxing place to go during vacation and summer
The zoo is well taken care of. The animals are well fed. Kids have a lot of activities to do. Bring water coz the pavilion that they have are far from each other and there will be a lot of walking for kids.
