The Amazing Race Asia Season 5 premiered last Thursday, October 13, 2016, 9:00 P.M. on AXN. 11 fearless teams of two from across the Asia battles for the ultimate price of USD 100,000.00. In the premiere episode, the racers gather for the highly anticipated launch of the Race at the National Monument in Jakarta, where celebrity host Allan Wu reveals a surprise and shocking twist at the starting line.
