Philippine School of Interior Design celebrates their 50th anniversary with a theme of “GOLD: Glamorous, Opulent, and Luxurious Designs.” In its 50 years, PSID has produced some of the finest interior designers in the industry and students who tops the board exams every year. As part of their 50th anniversary, PSID celebrates with Graduation exhibits slated on October 1-31, 2017 at the Uptown Bonifacio Mall in Bonifacio Global City.
PSID had graduation exhibits annually but this year, the school’s students, alumni and faculty have joined together to showcase their talents for GOLD. The exhibit is divided into three galleries.
The Students Gallery will exhibit interiors conceptualized and constructed by the 72 pupils of PSID Advanced Class of 2017 and students from PSID-AHLEN Institute. The Alumni Gallery is a “blast from the past” with PSID alumni such as Chitz Legazpi and Lalyn Nivera. And the third part of the gallery, the Faculty Gallery. Select professors of PSID like Michael Pizzaro, Mark Perez and Viana Anouevo, Gino and Karen Abrera, Jigs Adefuin, Mary Anne Bulandi, and Chat Flores showcased their talents as part of the exhibit.
There are 12 booths from the students of PSID, and here are my Top 3 favorites:

Morocaan Oasis
For the bedroom design, I like Morocaan Oasis. It was inspired by royalty golds and blues.

Contemporary Egyptian
For the bathroom design, Contemporary Egyptian won my heart. The students were able to resurrect the Egyptian style in a modern day setting. It features an elegant accent wall and vanity wall.

Industrial Luxe
For the kitchen, Industrial Luxe is my favorite because the design is all about displaying materials that many try to conceal.
Personally, I think all of the booths’ designs is beautiful, elegant and classy. But we all have different tastes, and these three were a perfect match for what I like. You could visit the “GOLD: Glamorous, Opulent, and Luxurious Designs” exhibit for free starting October 1-31, 2017 at the Uptown Bonifacio Mall in Bonifacio Global City.
