It’s summer again! The season of heat and blazing sun. A must have this summer: sunblock. The sun block is not only a protection for those who don’t want to get dark, or who’s really into taking care of the skin. Sunblock protects us from the heat of the sun. There is a dark side to the sun. The US government has officially identified ultraviolet radiation (UVR) both from the sun and from tanning machines as a known cause of cancer in humans. UVR produces DNA damage that may lead to mutations (abnormalities) in genes involved in the development of skin cancer. Therefore, along with other sun safety strategies, sunscreens that absorb or block UVR serve an important protective function. (Source: skincancer.org)
So you see.. If you think sunblock is not for you, you are making a big mistake! According to Dra. Kaycee Reyes, the amazing doctor behind Luminisce, we have to put on sunblock even if it’s gloomy outside. Yes. Although we don’t see the sun, it doesn’t mean that it’s rays won’t reach us.
I’m writing about Luminisce Sunblock not only because it’s summer, but because I wanted to share that it’s also important whether it’s summer, or gloomy outside. A sunblock is a “must have.”
At first, I was hesitant to try a sunblock. It’s my first time to attend classes during summer (because of the change in our academic year) so I told myself I really need a sunblock. Since I trust Luminisce so much, I decided to try their sunblock. Their sunblock has Tinosorb M, Microfined Zinc Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Citrolumin 8. It has SPF 50 (which is a really good number. You need to use at least SPF 30 to protect yourself from the sun.) UVA and UVB.
Before, I was using sunblock that makes your face really oily after applying it to your face. Every time I use those kinds of sunblock before, I always wash my face when I arrive in school. Well, good news, with Luminisce Sunblock, I assure you, you won’t look oily at all! If you are familiar what BB cream or a liquid concealer looks like, that’s how Luminisce sunblock looks like. It’s a good base for make-up for girls, and as for boys, don’t worry, it won’t look like you have a make-up on. I have been looking for a sunblock that won’t look oily on my face for so long! Thanks to Luminisce, I finally found my newest partner-in-crime! Now, I can go out to the blazing heat of the sun with confidence! Thank you Luminisce!
