ASUS Zenfone Live Initial Review

Last month, ASUS launched the ASUS Zenfone Live. The highlight feature of the phone is it’s livestream feature. The BeautyLive of Asus Zenfone Live allows the user to livestream with beautify. You can also adjust the beauty settings while you are currently livestreaming.

Performance

I have been using the phone for about two weeks, and so far, I am really satisfied. I am amazed by it’s beautification features while livestreaming. It works with Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. In fact, it also works not only when going live on Instagram, but also when using Instagram Stories. The Zenfone Live is packed with 2GB RAM, but so far, it was able to perform very well. You can still play your favorite games without problems.

Design

Considering the price of the Zenfone Live, the design is quite impressive. It looks premium because of its metal unibody built.

Also, Zenfone Live is pretty lightweight. It’s pretty noticeable, it feels like you are carrying a dummy phone. Personally, I love how handy and lightweight it is.

Initial comments:

1. Speaker is very impressive. It’s pretty loud because of it’s 5 magnet speaker. I can watch Netflix without earphones even when I am in a very noisy environment.
2. Zenfone Live has two built-in mics. Even in a very noisy environment, with it’s two built-in mic, I never had problems with a low audio in my livestreams.
3. Zenfone Live packs 2,650 mAh, but I am still impressed with it’s battery life. It can last a day without having to charge even when I have data on.
4. LTE is pretty stable. I was able to hit up to 20-30 MBps which I tested on the sweet spots of my service provider.
5. Considering the price and features of the Zenfone Live, it’s pretty affordable.
