Last year, I was an applicant of the University of Sto. Tomas Yellow Jackets, the official drum line and pep squad of the university. During our training, we are exposed under the blazing sun for too long. Since then, my face started to get oily so I easily get pimples. I started to have pimples which is unusual for me. I don’t know how to get rid of them. So I decided to try and use my Gift Certificate from Wellness City which I got from a press conference.

I do trust him because I am a Thomasian too, and I believe, UST graduates of premed courses and Medicine are truly excellent in what they do.
The Review:
The SERVICES:
So yesterday, using my Gift Certificate worth PhP 1,000, I was able to try their “oxygen facial and agas whitening mask.” It’s one of the facial/therapist services. It was done by by a facialist/therapist. To be honest, it was superb. No more blackheads and there was seriously a change in my skin color. It was probably the effect of getting my facial since I don’t usually get facials. When I woke up, I noticed the changes more. It was really a lot better. After the facial, the pimples were really red, but when I woke up, most of them are gone. It was amazing. The lady who did my facial was Miss Kim, she was really good. She entertained me really well and even gave me some advice on how to take care of my face. I enjoyed my facial, it was just like having a massage for your face. Except for the part of “pricking” your face, if you are usually getting facials, you know what I mean. It’s not really that painful, you would get used to the pressure applied on your face. A 13 year old girl can bear the pain. Anyway after that, you would get really good results. No more blackheads, lesser pimples and acne. Like what Filipinos usually say, “tiis ganda.” (Bear the pain, be beautiful)
SERVICES: 5/5
The AMBIANCE:
The ambiance was really good. The clinic is clean and has a good background music. Getting pampered plus relaxing music is truly a perfect combination. Miss Kim do have a good taste in music.
AMBIANCE: 5/5
The PRICE:
Based on the price list, I think the price is pretty reasonable. The services they offer are actually effective, you get what you paid for. (Based on the service I actually experienced, i.e. oxygen facial and agas whitening mask) They can be afforded by the middle class.
PRICE: 5/5
My VERDICT:
I would love to visit them again soon. I hope I can try some of their dermatological services so I can do a review and maybe next time I can take good pictures during the procedure. The services are quite effective, with a pretty reasonable price. The ambiance is good, the place is clean, so overall, I enjoyed. I certainly recommend ALA Skin Care or Wellness City if you are looking for a trusted dermatological clinic.

ALA Skin Care or Wellness City earned 5/5 stars from The Lifestyle Avenue.
I have a few sample products from Wellness City which I got as a giveaway from a press conference. I will probably give a separate review about it as soon as I have tried most of them. I also purchased a product from them yesterday. I will also do a review about it. Feel free to subscribe to The Lifestyle Avenue through email and receive notifications of new posts. (You can subscribe by entering your email address on the ride sidebar of my blog.)
Have you tried any of their services? What do you think about it? I would love to hear about it in the comments! Share your experience!
P.S. I tried their services in their main clinic in E. Rodriguez just across Welcome Rotonda. The landmark is KFC. From Cubao, you may try riding the FX going to Buendia. The FX is just outside the Gateway Mall.
