Caffe Bene has been really popular in Korea. I’ve only found out last December that they already have branches in the Philippines too. I visited their branch in Multinational Building, Ground Floor, Valero St., Makati City.
I love the ambiance and how they designed the coffee shop. It has the “study” ambiance I am looking for. Most of the coffee shops in the metro now doesn’t have this ambiance anymore. If only they have a branch near my place, most probably during exams, I would pick Caffe Bene as my spot.
They have ice blended frappes which are coffee-free. This is my favorite. Whenever I went to a coffee shop, I always order a coffee-free frappe. I tried Caffe Bene’s coffee-free frappes. They are really good. And the ingredients are healthy. While I was drinking it, it gave me a grainy feel, like oatmeal drinks. From the taste itself, you know that these frappes are guilt-free. Good for those who are conscious of their health. The Misugaru is their best-selling drink. It’s a mixture of black sesame seeds, black beans, brown rice and barley.
They also have Honey Breads. If I am not mistaken, these are one of their best sellers. No wonder. The Honey Bread was superb! The picture can best describe how it tastes.
Caffe Bene has new offerings. Their sandwiches. I was really lucky to be able to try their new sandwiches. My personal favorite was the Korean Spicy Tuna Sandwich! It was the best tuna sandwich I ever tried.
Their new sandwiches is certainly a must try. I am planning to revisit them on my prelim week and study there. They are indeed the perfect spot for me. Good food, good ambiance, and hopefully that would help me get good grades.
