Matabungkay Beach Hotel recently celebrated it’s 35th year anniversary. Featuring the homegrown Batangas chef in the 3rd Batangas Food Festival slated from November to December 2017.
The Batangas Food Festival featured 30 diversified local dishes and 5 beverage concoctions led by three esteemed culinary artists: Chef Jaja Andal, MBH Executive Chef Ricardo Diño Jr. and Adobo Queen Nancy Reyes-Lumen.
The festival incorporated seven heirloom recipes from families in Batangas namely: Andal, Daza, Leviste, Limjoco, Lontoc, Poblador, and Segismundo. Lomi ng Lipa, Menudong Batangas and Kalderetang Baka are some of the featured family heirloom recipes.
Among the 30 dishes featured, Batangas Food Festival will also serve five specifically concocted beverage like Chili Mojito (Ala Eh! Mojito), Barakotino and Kamote Tops juice.
