Finally! I found my secret (but not so secret place) place. Book and Borders Cafe is located in 281 Tomas Morato, Quezon City, Philippines. Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved reading books. I remember, I used to collect R. L. Stine’s “The Nightmare Room” series. Then when I was in high school, I always borrow fiction books from the library. When I got older, I got fond of ebooks and e-readers. Books has been a part of me ever since. When I got in college, I started loving the idea of hanging out in coffee shops even though I am not really a coffee drinker. It’s not because other people think it’s cool and “sosy” (status symbol) to hang out in a coffee shop. I love hanging out in the coffee shops because of its ambiance. Admit it or not, coffee shops is one of the best places to read a book. “Book + coffee = love.” That’s how it is for most people, or bookworms, coffee drinker or not. When I found out about “Book and Borders Cafe” I was excited. I told myself, I will visit this coffee shop! (I hope they would open a branch in UST! OMG!)
Book and Borders Cafe offers good books and good coffee. Believe me when I say, “good books.” Most of my all-time favorites were there. There were also recently published best sellers. Books of different genres are there. Some books were even signed by the author! I’m sure bookworms will consider this cafe as heaven!

Coffee shops is the best place to read. But honestly, these days, not all coffee shops can give you a nice peace and quiet. That’s not the case with Book and Borders. Unlike other crowded cafes where people are more engaged in chit chat, has purposely turned their space into something that is more relaxed and quiet. Book & Borders is definitely a must-try not just for book lovers and coffee lovers but anyone who is looking for a nice place to hang out in the busy metro. (Source: Press Release)
