Acer Philippines just launched their latest campaign, #TimeForUs. It is a movement that aims to narrow the divide between Gen Xers and the millennials. It aims to bring together the two generations closer with the help of the technology today.
“At Acer, we believe that it’s time to focus on bridging the generation divide,” shares Sue Ong-Lim, Sales and Marketing Director of Acer Philippines. She added, “It’s imperative that we see that, amidst the differences between Gen Xers and millennials, they are also a lot alike.”
The campaign is also a partnership between Acer Philippines and Casio G-Shock. G-Shock’s is appealing to both Gen X and millennial generation.
Basti Artadi and spoken word artist, Juan Miguel Severo, both artistic icons of their generation, is part of the collaboration and #TimeForUs campaign. “Time For Us” is a musical-and-spoken word piece to drive the message of the campaign.
“G-Shock, Basti Artadi, and Juan Miguel Severo are with us in aspiring to bring the Gen X and millenial generation together, “ says Ray Gozon, Acer Philippines’ Senior Marketing Manager. He also added, “With their help, we are optimistic that we will ultimately be able to succeed.”
Acer Philippines also announced that part of the #TimeForUs campaign is their promo. For every purchase of qualifying Acer laptops, it entitles the buyer to a FREE G-SHOCK watch which they can claim in any of Acer’s service center in Manila, Cebu and Davao.
